Job Description / Responsibility
- Office Management and Maintenance:
- Making regular campus rounds for early and timely solutions as needed,
- Ensure safety and security of the office premises and resources as needed,
- Ensure appropriate front desk operation and support,
- Supervise support staff members and workers,
- Ensure regular checking and maintaining of attendance, over time, leave without pay, unauthorized leave and leaves of all support staff members and workers at CRP- Savar and thus prepare their timely payments,
- Ensure timely contract renewals and yearly appraisals of Contractual Support staff members,
- Ensure full occupancy of CRP rooms and spaces for rent by informing the office,
- Make consumption plan and do the needful for timely purchase of housekeeping and cleaning materials;
- Monitor the consumption (e.g. tea, coffee, sugar) and procure as needed as advised and required.
- Maintain a buffer stock in hand for the same,
- Maintain the store of inventory, stationeries, housekeeping materials and follow accounting system,
- Provide emergency support during or after office housr as required,
- Assist in reviewing/updating procurement guidelines/policy as needed,
- Event Management:
- Actively involve with program planning,
- Maintain a calendar of events and implement a system that enables and anticipates long term planning and effective event management of organization�s meetings, conference and events,
- Seek necessary support from local administration as needed to ensure safety of events and participants,
- Assist in arranging required logistic support relevant to the program events,
- Assist in catering services for events,
- Assist if needed and asked, in procuring event related goods,
- Asset Management:
- Maintain standard practices of asset, inventory, repairing and maintenance management,
- Ensure that all fixed assets are numbered, accounted for and fixed assets register is updated,
- Ensure safety and security of all CRP assets,
- Maintain compliance with CRP policies and guidelines while handling any assets,
- Conduct year end/ periodic inventory of capital/non capital assets,
- Ensure the timely renewals of relevant contracts with CRP by informing the office,
- Any other duties as assigned by office from time to time.
